The Legendary Ladies Podcast

The Legendary Ladies are three Millenials with a passion for pop culture, storytelling, and media in all its forms. From television to comics, Taylor Swift to horror films, script to screen, the hosts work to share thoughtful conversations beyond the scope of your average 'watch and review' podcast. Settle in and join Amy, Kat, and Morgan wherever you listen to podcasts! Looking for The Legends of Tomorrow Podcast? You found it! Or rather, the rebranded version. After The Legends of Tomorrow was cancelled, the hosts chose to honor the loyalty of their fans by continuing to have conversations about the things we know our Legendary Listeners will enjoy. And don't worry, we promise to lay out at least a few LoT episode throwbacks a year. Especially cause AvaLance has a special place in all our hearts. On the fourth episode of the Legends of Tomorrow Podcast, co-hosts Kat Calamia and Gregg Katzman are joined by Chris Doucher - a contributor of The Flash Podcast and the creator of Geek Nerd Net - to talk all about Leonard Snart/Captain Cold and Mick Rory/Heat Wave! The trio of comic book fans have an in-depth chat about the comic book history of Flash's two iconic villains and share some reading recommendations. The co-hosts also explain why they believe these two Rogues are worthy of your attention, and discuss what they're hoping to see from the fiends in Legends of Tomorrow. (They may or may not be really, really excited to see what the dynamic is like between Captain Cold and White Canary!) They also cover the appearances Snart and Rory have made in animated shows and movies. Lastly, find out which character they'll hightlight in the next episode!

Also, don't forget if you are going to Wizard World Chicago this week, make sure to go to Arthur Darvill's panel that will be moderated by our very own Tony Kim!

On the third episode of the Legends of Tomorrow Podcast, co-hosts Kat Calamia and Gregg Katzman talk about Ray Palmer a.k.a. the Atom! But before they speak about the classic character, there's some big news to talk about: Vandal SavageHawkman and Wally West have all been cast! After commenting on whether or not they're optimistic about the casting developments, Kat and Gregg have a detailed discussion about the size-altering hero's history in the comics. Everything from Ray's classic origin story to which comics they think you should read is covered! Also, they share their thoughts on Brandon Routh's version of the DC hero in The CW's DC Universe and chat about other appearances the Atom has made in animated projects. Lastly, Gregg may or may not confess that he hasn't watched all of a beloved DC animated show, too. We hope you'll forgive him one day!
